Thomas B.  (Thom) Perry

 

Thom has extensive experience as an operating and financial executive, systems designer, educator and software developer. He is President of CambridgeSolutions Inc., and an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Miles College.

Software applications which he has developed include:

>> RealityCheckPro™ (Patent Pending) for planning and monitoring the succession of management, governance and wealth within a defined framework of culture and values;

>> QCode-OPē ™, an audit level application used by hosptials and hospital consultants to evaulate compliance with certain Medicare coding regulations and to assess the efficacy of the procedure coding and billing process;

>> OenoFile™ for managing large wine collections;

>> OenoPro™ for managing the receiving, judging and publication processes in professional wine competitions;

>> CMPro™ a chapter/council management application for the IMA*.

Each of these applications merge operating logic, industry practices and accounting discipline. Internet technology is integrated for receiving and transmitting data in a timely manner.

Thom was formerly the CEO of Conversion Dynamics, Inc., a designer and and implementer of optical document storage systems in the Macintosh, UNIX and Windows environments. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Rust International, Inc., one of the world's largest engineering and construction companies and a CPA with both audit and consulting experience at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Thom has authored manuals for software applications, optical document storage evaluation and Internet education (including the Advanced Internet courses for the IMA). He manages and/or consults on several professional and commercial Internet sites, including that of his local IMA Chapter (that received national recognition for design and content at the 1999 and 2000 IMA Annual Conferences.)
