A Chapel Hill based not-for-profit healthcare company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.  This person will be responsible for these activities.

·         Preparing the monthly financial statement package, which includes but is not limited to financial statements, statistical reports and operations summary.

·         Preparing and analyzing various reports with revenue, expense and statistical information.

·         Maintaining statistical data and verifying its accuracy to financial reports and subsidiary ledgers/modules.

·         Preparing product line financial and profitability analyses. Presenting findings for management to facilitate decision making.

·         Preparing financial package to be included in the Board of Directors package

·         Providing financial reporting as requested for all affiliates including but not limited to the following:

·          Actual to Budget comparisons

·          Statistics with Variance Analysis

·          Financial variance analysis (actual & budget)

·          Working with the Corporate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to review existing or new processes for opportunities to improve/increase revenue or efficiency opportunities for all affiliates.

·         Assisting with the evaluation of business results.

·          Assisting department managers in developing department and affiliate budgets gathering data to support budgeting analysis and forecasting maintaining appropriate productivity levels and in developing and maintaining Productivity Reports 

·          Performing additional duties as assigned.

 Candidates must have:

bulletMasters degree in Health Care Administration or a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred)
bulletAt least 6+ years of healthcare experience in health care administration, finance, or accounting.
bulletExcellent personal computer skills (Excel, Access, and business intelligence software)
bulletStrong written and verbal communication skills
bulletStrong analytical and problem solving skill
bulletExcellent organization skills and a great degree of accuracy
bulletAbility to work in a client driven, fast-paced environment
bulletSound and logical decision making abilities
